Endurance @ CFLV
We’ve been getting nothing but positive feedback in regards to the Endurance group meeting twice a week. Remember that the group meets on Thursday evenings at 7pm and Sunday afternoons at 2pm. Brendon Bareng is our leader of the group and he takes all participants through Pose running drills to start the group off. A workout follows to reinforce those drills. After all is said and done, he’ll explain how to apply Endurance concepts to your regular CrossFitting! If you have an interest in incorporating Endurace concepts to your regimen and/or want to learn how to run more efficiently this is the place to be!
Paleo Primer
Many have been asking for a presentation on Paleo Nutrition and its role in both performance and health. To that end Tamra O’Halloran will be shedding some much sought after light on just this topic. She’ll be at the gym on Saturday, April 28, at 2pm to share with us all the good things that await the would-be ancestral eater. If you’d like to learn a few things about the Paleolithic lifestyle and gets some answers to your questions, attendance will prove more than beneficial!
To register for the Paleo Primer, visit our Online Store. Once there, click the “Seminars” tab and enroll for the presentation. This seminar is free to all members of CFLV.
WOD
Wtd Pull Up/Negatives
3-3-3-3-3
AMRAP 12min of:
3 Deadlift
3 Burpee
3 Deadlift
6 Burpee
3 Deadlift
9 Burpee
3 Deadlift
12 Burpee…….
Continue adding 3 burpees to every round until time is up. Score is total reps.

Rather than adding burpees every round, why don’t we add more deadlifts? Just a thought. I want it to be better for those people that aren’t as good at burpees as I am…
Embrace the burpee! Love the burpee! Practice what you hate!
Or Frak the Burpees – get mad at them, attack them, yell at them.
Or join me on the couch, crying about missing this WOD, and every WOD this week.
